Arkar Zwe boasts over seven years of experience in the Telecommunication Industry, where he has held roles as both a project manager and a business development manager. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in English and an EMBA from The American International Institute, USA.During his tenure, Arkar Zwe has been instrumental in establishing FTTH (Fiber to the Home) ODN (Optical Distribution Network) networks across 45 cities in Myanmar. His expertise extends to forging collaborative partnerships with local ISPs (Internet Service Providers) and other operators. Notably, Ocean Wave, a company rich in ODN resources and connectivity throughout Myanmar, has been a significant part of his professional journey.Arkar Zwe’s accomplishments also include actively organizing local small ISPs and facilitating connections at the Mandalay IDC (Internet Data Center). As a pioneering member of Ocean Wave, he has been involved since its inception. Currently, he oversees Ocean Wave’s B2B business sector in both Myanmar and the Philippines. Additionally, he played a pivotal role in establishing a mutually beneficial partnership between Ocean Wave and MMIX (Mandalay Internet Exchange), spanning locations such as Mandalay, Nay Pyi Taw, and Thachileik. His commitment extends to contributing to the ongoing success of the IX (Internet Exchange) program.Arkar Zwe’s multifaceted experience and proactive approach have significantly contributed to the growth and development of the telecom industry in Myanmar.
