Member Categories

There are 4 member-types. Any legal entities who meet following criteria can apply member.

1. Principal Member:

Corporation who meets all of the following criteria’s. Legal Entity who

1. Has his own IP traffic to Peer.
2. Is a Telecommunication license holder issued by PTD*.
3. Peers and traffic exchange with at least one other member over public peering LAN. (Not Counting private Peering and remote peering).

* PTD - Posts and Telecommunications Department of the Ministry of Transport and Communications, Republic of the Union of Myanmar

2. Institutional Member:

Corporation who meets all of the following criteria’s. Legal Entity who

1. Has his own IP Traffic to Peer.
2. Peers and traffic exchange with at least one other Member.

3. Associate Member:

Person or Corporation who meets all the following criteria’s. Person or Legal Entity who

1. Is involved in the IP and Networking industry.
2. Likes to actively participate and support MMIX Activities.

4. Affiliate Member:

Person or Organization or Corporation who meets all of the following criteria’s. Person or Legal Entity who

1. Will benefit MMIX.
2. Resolved by the Council to be a member of the Association.
